Cocker Spaniel

Cocker Spaniels, much like their canine counterparts, undergo shedding. They are considered moderate shedders throughout the year. However, Cocker Spaniels experience two shedding seasons annually, which is a natural preparation for the changing seasons. During these periods, they exhibit a slightly increased shedding rate.

As the weather warms up, Cocker Spaniels tend to shed their heavier winter coat to stay comfortable in the heat. Conversely, as cooler months approach, they'll shed their lighter summer coat to make way for a denser, insulating fur.

These delightful dogs consistently maintain a moderate level of shedding, but during their transitional phases, they release a bit more fur than usual. This natural phenomenon helps them adapt to the weather shifts and keep their coats in optimal condition.
