Border Terrier

Border Terriers are a low-maintenance breed in terms of grooming. They do not require frequent baths, and simply towel drying them when they get wet and dirty is typically sufficient. Frequent bathing can soften their harsh, natural coat, which acts as a dirt repellent. Terriers don't usually have a strong odour. 

In terms of shedding, they will shed minimally, but their coat won't shed completely without help. This breed typically requires hand stripping twice a year to maintain their coat. Choosing the natural look and not stripping the coat may result in a bit more odour. 

For grooming, using a slicker brush is recommended. Regular brushing with a slicker brush helps keep their coat in good condition, prevents matting, and removes loose or dead hair. This grooming practice not only maintains their distinctive appearance but also contributes to their overall health and comfort.
